Custom pools. One accountable builder.Lake Conroe & The Woodlands — designed and built by the man who answers the phone.

One builder. One crew. From first walk-through to first swim.

Custom builds $75k–$250k+

01The process

One builder. One crew.

Most builders your size sell you on volume — pools poured, years in business, metros covered. That number is also the answer to the question you actually care about: how many other backyards is my crew standing in this week?

  1. 01

    Walk the property

Robert starts with the grade, plat, access, trees, utilities, and the way you want to use the yard.

  2. 02

    Draw it and price it

Pool, spa, coping, deck, equipment, fire, and shade become one scope before the first machine arrives.

  3. 03

    Build what is underneath

Excavation, plumbing, steel, and gunite set the structure. This is where clean field decisions matter.

Steel day — the shape becomes structure
  4. 04

    Finish, fill, and stay

Then Reef is still the number in your phone — not a call center.

The work

Two built backyards. Each one answers its own house, grade, tree line, and way of gathering.

What it costs

Publishing the band is not bravado — it is respect for your time. If that range is not your range, you have just saved a Saturday. If it is, everything below is what actually moves the number.

$75,000– $250,000+

The band is a first filter, not an estimate. A written number starts with your property and a defined scope.

The reason people spend this money is not the pool. It is the twenty years of evenings that come after it.

06Proof you can check

We don't hand-pick the reviews.

Most builder sites show you four quotes chosen by the builder. Reef would rather point you at the two lenders it works with — apply straight with them — and hand you the owner's line instead of a curated quote wall.

The promise

One builder. One crew. From first walk-through to first swim.

No franchise fee, no rotating project manager, no 'your foreman left the company.' You will recognize the truck in your driveway.

09Straight answers

Questions

Start with the budget, the property, and who holds the work. The rest can be drawn after those answers are clear.

What does a custom pool cost?

Reef works in a $75,000 to $250,000+ custom-build range. Access, excavation, structure, finish, decking, features, and equipment determine where a project lands inside that band.

Who walks the property and oversees the build?

Robert Welty walks the property, develops the design and price, and stays accountable through construction, startup, and handoff.

Can I apply for financing?

Yes. Lyon Financial and Viking Capital are lending partners. You apply directly with the lender and review its current terms and disclosures there.

Does Reef renovate existing pools?

Yes. Reef plans pool renovations that can include interior finish, tile, coping, lighting, equipment, automation, decking, and the spaces around the water.

What should I have for the first walk-through?

Bring the property survey or plat if you have it, plus photographs and a plain list of what the yard needs to do. Reef can start the conversation without finished plans.

10Start with the yard

Let's walk the property.

Send the city, the rough scope, and the budget band. If you have a plat or survey, bring it. If not, start with photographs.
